In Partnership With Parents...

Our ministry wants to partner with parents in training and discipleship. We believe the Bible is very clear that the place where the greatest spiritual growth should be taking place is at home.

        Hear, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone. And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, 
        all your soul, and all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am 
        giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and 
        when you are away on a journey, when you are lying down and when you are getting up again. Tie them to your 
        hands as a reminder, and wear them on your forehead. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

        And now a word to you fathers. Don't make your children angry by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them 
        up with the discipline and instruction approved by the Lord.                                                                               Ephesians 6:4

Even though our ministry programs target teens, our goal of supporting and encouraging parents and families remains the same. Thus, at any program parents are welcome to attend, and we will work at communicating on a regular basis what is
being taught.

We also want open communication between parents and leaders and will work at facilitating it through printed materials, the website, planned meetings, and an “open door” policy. Our goal is not to replace you or your influence in your student’s life but to support you and increase your influence. Our prayer is that we (you, our church body, and us) can work as a team to point students in the direction of the cross.
